Roki gave us his name. After a very rocky start to life he had already surprised us by his fight to stay alive. He suffered severe lack of oxygen at birth and as a result has some brain damage and was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at 5 weeks of age. He continues to fight an uphill battle every day as painful muscle spasms riddle him most of the day. When he has a break, he smiles the biggest smile, as if to say “I’m in here somewhere guys” and “I know you believe in me”.
There is no proven cure for his condition however, there is one therapy that may relieve some of his symptoms. Stem Cell Therapy. It is not available in Australia and we have already started Roki’s treatment in India to keep our promise to our boy: We will fix you Roki, we will help you.
Roki will need several treatments and the doctors in India are confident that he will show improvement. We will need to continue his fundraising campaign for as long as it may take. Please support our fundraising campaign so that we can help Roki along his very rocky road.
Please also sign our petition to get Stem Cell Therapy supported in Australia
